From an early age, art has been my language. At just four years old, I was inspired by my uncle Marvin’s bold “Dick Tracy” portrait style, and his influence continues to shape my creative journey today.

My work is versatile, ranging from Afrocentric abstracts and cubist-inspired pieces to landscapes of mountains, rivers, and lakes. I also create portraits that reimagine photographs with new clothing, expressions, and perspectives—pieces that delight my family and capture the essence of transformation. My work is versatile, ranging from Afrocentric abstracts and cubist-inspired pieces to landscapes of mountains, rivers, and lakes. I also create portraits that reimagine photographs with new clothing, expressions, and perspectives—pieces that delight my family and capture the essence of transformation. Sculpture fascinates me as well; I often work with air-dry clay, drawing inspiration from classical figures like David and The Thinker, while also crafting smaller sports-inspired statues.
Not all my work is serious—some paintings embrace a playful, cartoon-like style, such as The Playground, which depicts my first girlfriend and me in a colorful, whimsical scene.
